About the role
An exciting secondment opportunity is available within the UK Pricing & Access team, offering an existing Novartis associate the opportunity to broaden their experience and develop new skills across pricing, market access and NHS commercial strategy.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within Pricing & Access, work across different brands and collaborate with colleagues across Value & Access and the wider business.
The secondment will provide valuable exposure to UK pricing processes, NHS commercial agreements and access strategy, while building transferable commercial, analytical and stakeholder-management skills. Following the secondment, the successful candidate will return to their substantive role with broader experience and a deeper understanding of the UK business.
Job Description
Major accountabilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the development and implementation of UK pricing and access strategies across a range of brands.
• Supporting pricing activities and processes, ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery.
• Working with data and insights to support pricing, access and commercial decision-making.
• Supporting the development, implementation and ongoing management of NHS commercial agreements .
• Monitoring and maintaining pricing information and ensuring relevant systems, trackers and documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with colleagues across Value & Access and the wider UK business .
• Coordinating multiple activities and priorities, taking ownership for deliverables and proactively following up with key stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvement of pricing and access processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining appropriate compliance with relevant processes, SOPs and training requirements.

• Curiosity and an interest in developing a broader understanding of pricing, market access and the UK NHS environment.
Previous experience in pharmaceutical pricing, market access, finance, commercial operations or another data-intensive environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
